9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Annmarie Garden's Holiday Market provided an exciting mix of "homemade, handmade, homegrown" holiday shopping from 60+ vendors! This was my last show for the year and, boy, it was a chilly day but shoppers were undaunted! My holiday oyster shell adorned wreaths sold out and my themed oyster shell tree ornaments, trinket dishes, and earrings were popular for gift giving.

This fund-raising event had a great turnout for a fun-filled family day with Santa, food trucks, pony rides, petting zoo, and vendors offering wonderful crafts for early Christmas shopping. My tent withstood the windy day and I had good sales of my oyster shell tree ornaments, shell trinket dishes, oyster shell crosses, and pressed flower earrings--all affordably priced for gift giving!

Sponsored by the Ann Arrundell County Historical Society, a group "dedicated to preserving and promoting the county's historical resources." The weather was great for November so lots of people came out. I had unique oyster shell Christmas ornaments, shell trees, and festive holiday home decor. Ornaments and one-of-a kind "hair art" barrettes were my best sellers.

Run by The Old Bowie Arts & Heritage Committee to support the revitalizing of Old Bowie by establishing it as an arts and entertainment district, this festival showcased Bowie's collection of cultures with live music, dance, local and ethnic food, entertainers, arts and crafts, and children's activities. Weather was great! I had items for early holiday gift shopping and my whimsical "snow lady" ornaments were popular.

A sold-out fundraising event, "...a heartfelt celebration of the Bay's revival, the resurgence of its native oysters, and the incredible community that made it all possible!"
Attendees enjoyed samples from regional oyster vendors, oyster delicacies, local libations, a shucking contest, and a great band. Sales of my oyster shell crafts were wonderful and I will be donating 10% of my sales to the Oyster Recovery Partnership.

Crofton, MD 21114
10:00 am to 3:00 pm

A popular beach-themed market celebrating summer and all things sea glass and beachy! Despite the close to 100 degree heat, there was a great turnout of visitors browsing the 65+ craft booths embracing the theme of the event. I had great sales! I am now going to work on holiday items in my air conditioned craft room until September!

A warm summer day for visitors to enjoy shopping at the vendor booths. I had lots of beachy-style home decor items to "accessorize" indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces and awesome shell jewelry and hair ornaments so you, too, could be fancy!
Allen Pond Park
Bowie, MD
11:00 am to 5:00 pm
This was the 47th year this event has taken place. Visitors enjoyed beautiful weather, a wide variety of entertainment from bands to dancers to children's entertainment, craft vendors, food vendors, info booths from many businesses serving the community. Unfortunately, not too many visitors were in a craft shopping mood so sales were unenthusiastic. My unique, one-of-a-kind hair barrettes were my most popular sellers.

The Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce’s Spring Festival on the Green was a well-organized community event. Though it was a drizzly afternoon, the weather did not deter the many visitors who enjoyed the food trucks, games, music, and shopping the booths of crafters and local businesses.

A warm Spring day and a well attended event hosted by the Chesapeake HS Band Boosters to support the band. The student helpers were great! There were 170+ vendors selling arts and crafts, jewelry, cosmetics, glassware, woodworks, holiday items, clothing, and more. And, of course, my unique and artistic oyster shell creations! Since the event was before Easter, my oyster shell crosses were a popular seller.

Market Celebration 11 am - 4 pm
Live Nativity 6:16 pm - 7:30 pm
Wonderfully organized event! Lots of vendors, food trucks, kid friendly activities. I appreciated the unloading and packing up help from the scouts and church volunteers because I had a flu/cold and was not feeling well. Thankfully, two good friends took care of selling my shell creations and kept me away from the public. Had great sales of my oyster shell Christmas tree ornaments!
On the grounds of the Benson-Hammond House

Great Day! Though it was only 38 degrees and dark for 6 a.m. setup, the sun came out and warmed up the vendors and visitors. Looking forward to participating in 2024 craft events sponsored by the Ann Arrundell County Historical Society (And, no, I did not misspell. That's the correct spelling for this group "dedicated to preserving and promoting the county's historical resources.")
